Pillion rider killed, driver injured as truck hit bike in Krishnagar

Sting Newz Service, Krishnagar (Nadia): A pillion rider was killed and driver injured when a truck hit their bike. It happened at Depara area under Kotoali PS on Krishnagar – Nabadwip Riad at around 9.30 am. on Sunday, police said.

When a truck hit them after losing its control, the duo fell down on road from bike. The locals rescued and taken the duo to local Bishnupur Rural Hospital. Physician declared Sabur Ali Biswas (37) brought dead. The other injured Diptangshu Biswas of Badkullaha Gangni area was referred to Shaktinagar hospital. He has been taking treatment there.

Police said it seized the killer truck but the driver was absconding.

The victim Sabur Ali Biswas, a constructional labourer and a resident of Nizampur under Kotoali PS and Diptangshu were moving to Krishnagar on a bike. At that time it happened at Depara.
