Arnab Majumder, Sting Newz | Nadia: In a major crackdown, the Dhubulia police under the Krishnanagar Police District of Nadia achieved a significant success by seizing 59 kilograms of cannabis during a late-night operation. The contraband was recovered from a four-wheeler on National Highway 12 following a tip-off from a confidential source.
According to police sources, the cannabis was concealed beneath the vehicle. The three arrested individuals have been identified as Nur Nabi Sarkar, Prashanta Sarkar, and Saidur Rahman. A case has been filed against them under the NDPS Act.
The arrested were presented before the district court in Krishnanagar today, where the judge ordered 14 days of police custody for further investigation.
