Krishnagar Public School Hosts Grand Investiture and Felicitation Ceremony

STING NEWZ, Krishnagar: In a vibrant celebration of leadership, legacy and academic excellence, Krishnagar Public School held its Investiture and Felicitation Ceremony 2025–26 at Rabindra Bhawan on 5th July. The event marked the formal induction of the new Students’ Council and the recognition of CBSE board toppers from 2019 to 2025.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a soulful invocation by students. Chief Guest Ms. Shilpi Paul, Deputy Superintendent of Police (IUCAW), inspired the gathering with her empowering words. School Director Mr. Amitava Guha inaugurated the Investiture Ceremony, where the newly appointed Prefectorial Board proudly marched forward, embodying discipline and dignity.

Vice Principal Dr. Ramesh Kumar Agarwal and Senior Headmistress Ms. Indrani Bhattacharyya announced the names of the council members, as senior faculty and house mentors presented them with badges and sashes. Newly introduced leadership roles such as Sports and Cultural Captains were also conferred.

The highlight was the declaration of Rehan Biswas as Head Boy and Averi Banerjee as Head Girl for 2025–26. They received the school flag from outgoing leaders Akash Halder and Dwaipa Sarkar, who shared heartfelt reflections.

Principal Dr. Sankar Prasad Dutta, in his stirring address, emphasized the evolving essence of leadership: “It’s not about command but collaboration, conscience and communication.”

In the second half, the Felicitation Ceremony honoured school toppers of CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams from the very first batch in 2019–20 to the latest of 2024–25. Alumni from across the country returned for the event, and many proud parents received mementoes, certificates, and symbolic saplings on their behalf.

Primary Headmistress Ms. Sanga Chakraborty concluded the ceremony with a warm vote of thanks, closing a day that beautifully bridged the school’s illustrious past with its promising future.
