Sting Newz Service: Sourav Kumar Chattopadhyay, the Officer-in-charge of Shantipur police station was removed from his post soon after the hooch incident there. Chattopadhyay was reportedly replaced by Mukunda Chakraborty who was posted as OC Dhantala.
It is reported that Mukunda Chakraborty is a skilled officer and also hard working.
SI Sumon Das from Debogram ROP under Kaliganj Police Station was posted now as Dhantala OC.
SI Koushik Biswas from Kalyani police station was sent to Debogram ROP in his place.
Nadia Police Super Rupesh Kumar ordered this on 28 November.
