Arnab Majumder, Sting Newz Correspondent, Krishnagar, Nadia: Soon after inauguration of only Cyber Crime police station in Nadia’s Krishnagar on July 23, the police station achieved their first success within 72 hours on Friday.
A female from Shantipur in Nadia had lodged a complaint with this new Cyber Crime police station stating that someone had tried to snatch her decency by uploading her intimate photographs on Facebook and WhatsApp.
The personnel of this police station initiated an investigation and arrested the miscreant from Nakashipara in Nadia within 24 hours on Friday.
It was the first success of the new cyber crime police station since inauguration in Nadia district.Police stated that the legal action would be taken against the miscreant.
