Malda Police recovers 400 grams brown sugar

Sting Newz service: On a tip off, Malda police recovered 400 grams of brown sugar and arrested a person. It happened at Aam bazzar under Engrej bazar Police Station area in Malda at the wee hour on Thursday night, a police sources said.

According to sources, the recovered brown sugar was worth rupees a few lakhs. The person that was nabbed by the police was identified as Ismail Shaikh (30), a resident of Ser Shahi in Kaliachak police station area. Police produced him in a local Court on Friday.

A police officer stated that smile had been waiting with the consignment and Malda police nabbed him on the seed spot.
