Kaliganj gang Rape Case, BJP’s Agnimitra Paul & Mafuja Khatun met the family

Arnab Majumder, Sting Newz Correspondent, Nadia: “Wait for only six months.We are coming to power in this State and only then the females will get the proper security,” said Agni Mitra Paul, the BJP Mahila Morcha President at Nadia’s Palassy on Saturday. She came here to meet a young lady and her family members at Baro Chandghar village at Kaliganj in Nadia. Allegedly the young lady was gangraped.

However, after meeting with the lady and her family members Paul said to media persons,” The rape has been taken to a level of art and in most cases the involvement of the miscreants are found to the TMC leaders.  “When we will come to power, will look into, so that the corrupted Police officers are suspended. Side by side, we will confirm the proper justice to the common people.”

A team of BJP Mahila Morcha on Saturday meet the said family. BJP leader Mafuja Khatun was also in the team.

Occasionally Paul more said, “The State CM and TMC leaders were in agony for Hathras incident. But one after another incident of rapes and oppressions to the females has been happening in this State. Many of them committed suicide. But strangely none of the TMC was seen to protest against this type of oppressions to the females.”

Family sources said,” The young girl was going to the home of his grand father by a toto on Thursday evening. Three persons blocked the toto and took her to a nearby bush on gun point.The toto driver returned to her home and informed. The family persons and others rushed to the spot and the trio ran away.

Then the young lady lodged complaint with police. She said, ” The three persons gangraped me on gunpoint. I demand their punishment of hanging.”

However, police arrested one person out of accused three on Friday on basis of a complaint of the the young lady.

A local TMC leader stated regarding the complaint that the allegation that one of the miscreants was closed to a local TMC leader was ‘false’.
