I.C. Nodakhali Anindya Basu died in Covid-19

Sting Newz Service: Anindya Basu, the I.C. of Nodakhali police station in South 24 Parganas died due to covid-19 early on Thursday. He was 47 and survived by his wife & a minor daughter.

According to sources he was admitted to a private hospital in South Kolkata with corona positive on October 12. As his condition deteriorated, he was referred to another private hospital along EM Bypass. He was fighting there with the deadly disease. But finally he succumbed to death and died on early on Thursday.

During his long period of service in Nadia district he worked in a number of police stations. He was very friendly to the media persons in Nadia. He was a skilled police officer as well as a good human being.
