Housewife allegedly Kills young lover by poisoning with alcohol in Ranaghat

Sting Newz Service: A housewife allegedly killed a young guy by poisoning with alcohol as the guy protested her extramarital affair with multiple men.  The incident occurred at Nokari Ghoshpara under Ranaghat Police station in Nadia. The deceased was identified as Suman Ghosh (24). He was a resident of said address.

It is alleged that Sukla Ghosh, a housewife of the said village developed a love affair with neighboring youth Suman Ghosh. The woman called Suman at her home in the afternoon on Friday and offered him liquor with mixing poison.  After consuming liquor offered by her, Suman fell seriously ill. He was first rushed to Ranaghat Sub-divisional Hospital in a serious condition and later he was referred to Kalyani JNM Hospital where he was declared dead on Saturday.

When the news of the death reached Nokari Ghosh Para village, the villagers gathered in the house of the housewife and vandalized her house.  At that time, the woman anyhow managed to escape from her house with her daughter.

The family members of the deceased lodged a complaint with local police in the night on Sunday against the woman Sukla Ghosh.

Sabita Ghosh, mother of the deceased said, “My son Suman developed a love affair with the next door woman Sukla Ghosh for one year. My son came to know about her multiple extramarital relationships with other men. My son protested it. That’s why, the woman killed my son by poisoning with alcohol. I demand a stern punishment of the woman.”

Police sources said, after the incident, the woman was absconding. Police initiated an investigation into the case.
