Buried body recovers from room of wife’s lover, Police arrests wife

Sting Newz Service: The buried body of a man was recovered from under the bed of allegedly the lover of his wife. It happened at Goalbathan area under Gaighata police station in North 24 parganas in West Bengal on Wednesday.

The middle aged victim was identified as Ramkrishna Sarkar of Baneswarpur in Cooch Behar. The body was recovered from the home of one Sujit Das. Allegedly, there was an illicit relationship of Sujit with victim’s wife Swapna Das. Gaighata police arrested Swapna.

According to local sources, the locals observed blood stains along a pond at Goalbathan area on Tuesday. They informed police. The cops and locals found out a few things like shoes, mask, torch light etc. from the nearby bamboo bush of the said spot. Next morning the neighhbours found the blood stains infront of the home of Sujit Das. Soon they informed police.

Police smelt something wrong. As the room was under lock and key, the cops broke into and observed that the floor under the bed was dug up. Finally, the injured dead body of Ramkrishna Sarkar was dug up from the suspected place of the room.

As allegedly there was an extra marital affair of Swapna with sujit, police, prima facie, suspects that with a view to clear the way of their affair, the duo killed Ramkrishna. Police has taken Swapna behind bar but Sujit was absconding, a police sources said.
